1. as作“盡管/雖然/即使”講時(shí)引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句
1）副詞+as+主語+be動(dòng)詞或?qū)嵙x動(dòng)詞
（1）Much as they miss their hometowns, they have to work in strange cities in order to make money to support their families. 雖然他們很想念自己的家鄉(xiāng)，但是為了掙錢養(yǎng)家，他們不得不在陌生的城市工作。（2）Hard as he works, we are still worried that he will fail in the upcoming examination.
雖然他學(xué)習(xí)很努力，但是我們還是擔(dān)心他在即將到來的考試中會(huì)不及格。
2）形容詞+as+主語+be動(dòng)詞或?qū)嵙x動(dòng)詞
（1）Rich as they are, they feel that they are not happy as before.
雖然他們很富有，但是他們覺得自己不像以前那樣幸福。
（2）Big and strong as he is, he does not have courage to step forward and face bad guys in dangerous situations. 雖然他高大強(qiáng)壯，但是他卻沒有勇氣在危險(xiǎn)的情況下站出來面對(duì)壞人。
3）實(shí)義動(dòng)詞+as+主語+助動(dòng)詞（備注：如果沒有助動(dòng)詞，則需要根據(jù)時(shí)態(tài)和對(duì)應(yīng)主語的單復(fù)數(shù)加do/does/did）
（1）Try as he might, Tom could not achieve satisfactory results.
盡管湯姆很努力，但是他卻不能得到滿意的結(jié)果。
（2）Try as he did, he didn’t find a good job as he expected.
盡管他努力了，但是他卻沒有找到他期望的好工作。
4）名詞+as+主語+be動(dòng)詞（備注：句首的名詞不帶冠詞）
（1）Boy as he was, he behaved like a girl. 雖然他是個(gè)男孩，但是他的舉止卻像個(gè)女孩。
（2） Girl as she is, she can gain equal access to education and work, and so on in this new country. 雖然她是個(gè)女孩，但是她可以在這個(gè)新國(guó)家獲得平等的受教育和工作等機(jī)會(huì)。
2. while作“雖然/盡管”講時(shí)一般放在句首引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句
（1）While I am willing to help you, I do not have much time available.
盡管我愿意幫助你，但是我沒有多少時(shí)間。
（2）While he is richer than most people, he is not as happy as they are.
雖然他比大多數(shù)人富有，但是他卻不像他們那樣快樂。
3. even if=even though“即使；雖然”引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句時(shí)可放在句首或句中
（1）Even if I had the talent to play tennis I couldn’t stand the pressure.
即使我有打網(wǎng)球的天資，我也承受不了那種壓力。
（2）You have to let us struggle for ourselves, even if we may fail in the process.
你得讓我們自己去奮斗，即使在此過程中我們可能失敗。
（3）Even though sometimes you may use a wrong word or tense, it doesn’t matter.
盡管有時(shí)你可能用錯(cuò)單詞或時(shí)態(tài)，但這并不重要。
（4）He’s the best teacher, even though he has the least experience.
他雖然經(jīng)驗(yàn)最少，卻是最出色的老師。
4. 在引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句時(shí)no matter what/when/where/how分別相當(dāng)于whatever/whenever/wherever/however
（1）No matter what (=Whatever) happened, he would not mind.
不管發(fā)生什么事，他都不介意。
（2）Give me a call first no matter when (=whenever) you come.
不管什么時(shí)候來，都請(qǐng)你先給我打個(gè)電話。
（3）Some people enjoy themselves no matter where (=wherever) they are.
有些人無論在哪里都很開心。
（4）No matter how (=However) well you know this city, it is easy to get lost.
