hand的用法？

1. give someone a hand / someone needs a hand

當(dāng)自己遇到困難，需要別人幫助時，我們常常可以說：

Could you give me a hand, please?

你可以幫幫我嗎？或者

I need a hand. Could you help me out?

我需要幫助，你能幫我解決這個問題嗎？

2. in hand / out of hand

in hand 可以用來表達某一局勢已在掌控之下，或事情已在處理當(dāng)中。如：

They finally had this situation in hand.

他們終于控制了局勢。這里的 in hand 相當(dāng)于 under control。

與 in hand 相反，從字面意思就可以看出 out of hand 直譯為脫手，引申為失去控制，如：

The real estate market in this city is totally out of hand!

這個城市的房地產(chǎn)市場已完全失去了控制。

3. reveal (one’s) hand

這里的短語 reveal (one’s) hand 意為將某人的計劃、意圖、想法或資源等公開于其他人，多指之前被隱藏以來或是秘密的事物或事情。如：

In business negotiations, it's important that you don't reveal your hand right away, or you might risk losing out on the best deal.

在商務(wù)談判中，關(guān)鍵的是不要立刻露出你的底牌，不然你可能會處在失掉最佳交易的風(fēng)險之中。

4. (near) at hand

區(qū)別于 in hand ，(near) at hand 的意思是在手邊、在附近、近在咫尺，引申意思為即將來臨。如：

The examination is near at hand.

考試臨近了。
